Several other people came into the pool area and turned around and walked out immediately. And maybe some were guests, but a couple kids were brought in and out through the pool door leading out to the parking lot. I enjoy kids, have no problem sharing the pool, but some consideration for guests of the hotel should be taken into account. Very litte supervision and not one parent stopped the running on the pool deck or the screaming. I have traveled with young hockey teams with more respect. Playing with balloons and balls in and out of the hot tub. All young ages screaming, running, pouring buckets of water over, jumping in. I am totally for kids having fun, but there are 10 of them. Even though the sign says no pool parties, There is definitely a pool birthday party going on for an eight year old. Staying at small mom and pop places that have been great, but we were looking forward to relaxing after hikes in the pool and hot tub. We have been traveling in the UP for 2 weeks. Apparently they can't do anything about it and think it's normal. The hall is cool, but we walk into our room and it feels like walking into a blast of heat.
